A sheet guide arranged in a region of printing nip, has blast openings for guiding a sheet on the shell surface of sheet guiding cylinder. The blast openings include throttled air blast nozzles and free jet nozzles which are charged separately at different pressure levels. An Independent claim is also included for sheet-fed rotary printing press.
