The centrifugal fertilizer spreader has trough-shaped spreader blades of different lengths. At least one of these is made in two sections (8, 8) which can slide with respect to each other, allowing the length of the blade to be adjusted. Each section has a slot (12, 14) in it, allowing them to be fastened together by a bolt (10).
