The condensing station, to condense drawn sliver at the drawing unit of a spinner, has an adjustable suction condensing length over the perforated surface (21) of the condensing drum (6), between the clamping roller (7) and the blocking roller (11), according to the fiber material of the sliver and/or the required spun yarn structure. The condensing station for drawn sliver, at the sliver drawing unit of a spinner, has a suction slit of a variable length, at the suction unit (13) within the condensing drum, using a slide with a diaphragm. The blocking roller is after the clamping roller, with a variable gap (a) between them. The clamping and blocking rollers are mounted to a carrier plate, where an axis of the blocking roller passes through an elongated hole to the axis of the clamping roller. The length of the sliver condensing zone, and especially the stretch between the clamping and the blocking rollers, is set at 25-55 mm according to the sliver material, measured on the path over the condensing drum surface.
