STRUCTURE FOR ASSEMBLING PIVOT HOUSING OF WIPER ASSEMBLY

PURPOSE: Structure for assembling the pivot housing of a wiper assembly is provided to reinforce the assembling strength by fitting a fixing pipe and a pivot housing in holes by riveting and caulking and to reduce the caulking area by employing a riveting process. CONSTITUTION: A hole is formed in a pipe fixing unit(38) protruded horizontal onto one side of a pivot housing. A hole corresponding to the hole of the pipe fixing unit is formed in a fixing pipe(20) combined to the pivot housing and attached with a mounting bracket. When assembling the pivot housing, a rivet(40) is inserted into the holes of the pipe fixing unit and the fixing pipe. The outer face of the fixing pipe is fixed by a caulking(50). Therefore, the assembling strength is reinforced.
