PURPOSE: An extendable wiper is provided to improve the degree of freedom in a design by forming a main frame using aluminum die casing and adding an idle pivot onto one end of the main frame. CONSTITUTION: An extendable wiper comprises a main frame(20) formed by aluminum die casing and whereon a wiper motor(11) is mounted, a first link(12) combined to a drive link fixed on a drive shaft of the wiper motor, a first pivot shaft(40) rotatably installed on one end of the main frame, a rotating link(16) rotatably installed on one end of the main frame and combined to the first link via a ball pin(24), a second link(14) combined to one end of the rotating link via a ball pin(22) and to a connecting link(18) via a ball pin(26), a second pivot shaft(42) mounted on the main frame and rotated by the connecting link, and an idle pivot shaft(44) rotatably mounted on one end of the main frame in opposition to the first pivot shaft. A wiper arm is driven by the idle pivot shaft.
