PURPOSE: A system for providing an initial screen of an Internet homepage according to a user and a managing method thereof are provided to enable a user to set an initial screen according to each user's favorite by registering the initial screen of information providing homepage to an information providing server through the Internet. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises a client(110_1,..110_n) such as a computer, an Internet terminal and an Internet set-top requesting an information provision, an information providing server(130) providing the multimedia data in order to enable the user to make the initial screen of user's favorite and transmitting each initial screen of Internet homepage according to each client, and a network(120) such as the Internet connecting the client and the information providing server. The information providing server includes a member management server(131), an information management server(132) and an initial screen management server(133).
