STRUCTURE AND METHOD FOR COMBINING DRIVING UNIT OF WIPER

PURPOSE: Structure and method for combining the driving unit of a wiper are provided to cut down the production cost and to reduce the number of component and assembling process by integrally forming a pivot shaft and a ball pin on a pivot plate. CONSTITUTION: A pivot shaft(22) and a ball pin(24) are integrally formed on a pivot plate(26). An inclined portion(22b) is formed on the pivot shaft while a threaded portion(22a) is formed on the upper end of the inclined portion. A drive link is rotatably combined to the ball pin by the interposition of the pivot plate. A wiper arm is combined via the inclined portion of the pivot shaft. The driving force transmitted via the drive link is transmitted to the wiper arm. According to the integration of the pivot shaft and the ball pin with the pivot plate, the number of assembling process and component is reduced.
