PURPOSE: A system and method for issuing coupons is provided to conduct the settlement of the cost for application at any time or at a desired time and process the costs of several applications at one settlement. CONSTITUTION: An applicant information DB(110) stores information about the application. An applicant management server(120) manages the applicant information DB(110). A credit information DB(130) stores the applicant's resident registration number and credit transaction status. A credit information management server(140) manages the credit information DB(130). A settlement information DB(150) stores the applicant's account information or card information, a system operator's account information, and a money recipient's account information. A coupon grant server(160) manages the settlement information DB(150) and makes the credit information management server(140) judge the applicant's financial standing. A coupon settlement server(170) transfers relevant money from an applicant's account server(101) to the system operator's account server(102) if the applicant purchases a coupon. A coupon issue DB(180) stores a code generation program containing a rule to generate coupon codes. A coupon code generation server(190) manages the coupon issue DB(180). A coupon code DB(200) stores a coupon code granted to the applicant from the coupon code generation server(190) together with the applicant's authentication information. A coupon issue server(210) converts information generated from the applicant management server(120), the coupon grant server(160), the coupon settlement server(170), the coupon code generation server(190) and the credit information management server(140) into data and transmits the converted data to an applicant's terminal(100).
