METHOD FOR INPUTTING CHARACTER OF JAPANESE USING MINIATURE KEYBOARD

PURPOSE: A method for inputting a character of Japanese is provided to perform an input operation of one character using a basic character key having a basic character corresponded to one character and three function keys when one character is inputted on condition that basic characters corresponded to the first character stair of Japanese in new 50 sound chart are arranged on each key of a reduced keyboard based on the new 50 sound chart. CONSTITUTION: A basic character corresponded to a sound of the first character stair of Japanese of a row having a character to be inputted is selected and inputted. The corresponding transition function, that is, the first transition function, the second transition function, and the third transition function are called by pressing a key of the basic character for creating an input character. In case that the inputted character is the selected basic character, the first stage is returned for inputting other character. In case that the inputted character is not the selected basic character, the inputted character is created by the called transition function using a KSL key, a KSR key, and a KT key by the called transition function. If one character input is completed, the operation of the first stage is returned for inputting other character.
