METHOD FOR EDITING ADDITIONAL INFORMATION OF CELLULAR PHONE USING EXTERNAL INPUT DEVICE

PURPOSE: A method for editing additional information of a cellular phone using an external input device is provided to easily edit an additional function menu and increase the convenience of a user by performing the editing of various additional function menus using a keyboard of a PC. CONSTITUTION: A CPU of a PC responds to infrared communication request from a cellular phone IR transmitting/receiving unit(220) and drives a hyper terminal communication program for performing a communication with an external device(222). The CPU receives an additional function menu program transmitted from a cellular phone and displays an additional function menu window of the cellular phone on a PC monitor(224). The CPU recognizes the input of cellular phone additional information change from a user through a keyboard(226), corresponds to the input from the user, and edits corresponding additional information(228). In case that the editing of cellular phone additional information is ended(230), the control unit transmits the content of various addition information edited by the user to the cellular phone through the IR transmitting/receiving unit(232).
