PURPOSE: Dual units of a synchronous transport module link in a full electronic telephone exchange system is provided to easily select a switch and prevent loss of data by full-cross dualizing a transport network and the links considering automatic protection switching. CONSTITUTION: A host STM-1 link(21) transports transmit data. A plurality of transport units(22A,22B,22C,22D) transport transmit data of the host STM-1link(21) through a transport network(23). A remote STM-1 link(24) receives data transported from the host STM-1 link(21) through the plurality of transport units(22A,22B,22C,22D). The dual transport units(22A,22B,22C,22D) receive a couple of working nodes from each link and select one working node for transporting data to the corresponding node.
