UNIFIED CHROMATE SOLUTION COMPOSITION FOR NORMAL AND THICK CHROMATE TREATMENTS ON COLD ROLLED STEEL PLATE

PURPOSE: A unified chromate solution composition for normal and thick chromate treatments on a cold rolled steel plate is provided which simplifies plating equipment and remarkably improves work efficiency by preparing the unified chromate solution composition that is compatible to both normal and thick chromate treated products. CONSTITUTION: In a chromate solution which can be used in production of normal and thick chromate treated products by chromate treating a cold rolled steel sheet, the unified chromate solution composition for normal and thick chromate treatments on a cold rolled steel plate is characterized in that the chromate solution has 0.5 to 3.7 % of a free acidity, 12 to 18 % of Cr¬+6, 5.0 to 12.0 g/L of Zn¬+2, and 5.0 to 10.0 g/L of SO¬4-.
