METHOD FOR EMBODYING USER HELP FUNCTION IN MONITOR CAPABLE OF ADJUSTING ON SCREEN DISPLAY

PURPOSE: A method for embodying a user help function in a monitor is provided to add a user help function to the on screen display function of a monitor so that a user can easily use the on screen display adjustment function. CONSTITUTION: If a computer user pushes a menu key in an idle state(100,102), a micro controller detects the menu key input signal and displays an operation panel window on the monitor(104). If the user selects an icon related to a desired adjustment function and pushes a help key(106), the micro controller detects the help key input signal and recognizes the selected icon(108). Then the micro controller stores the present control value of the associated adjustment function(110) and automatically executes the adjustment function corresponding to the selected icon(112).
