PURPOSE: Provided is a polymer electrolyte having improved mechanical strength, which is produced by adding a porous material having channels capable of the migration of ions to an ion conductive polymer. CONSTITUTION: The process comprises the steps of: stirring the ion conductive polymer selected from the group consisting of polyethylene oxide, polyacrylonitrile, and polyvinylidene fluoride for about 12 hours; impregnating a thin film of the porous material with the stirred ion conductive polymer and drying at an ordinary temperature, wherein the film type porous material is fabric, paper, or a polymer such as polypropylene and polyurethane; redrying the polymer electrolyte at 60deg.C for 12 hours under vacuum. |
