Machine readable indicia, for example bar codes 15, are used in plant safety and decommissioning. The machine readable indicia help to quickly identify faulty component parts and also aid in the decommissioning of a plant. Furthermore, the machine readable indicia can act as a three-dimensional map wherein an indicia reading machine may provide the exact location of, for example, a component part within a plant. |
