An electrical connecting plug part (1) comprises: (a) a base housing (2) having a housing sheath (3,4) that extends in the direction of the plug; and (b) a surrounding ring seal (9) that is injection molded around the housing sheath (3,4). An Independent claim is also included for a process for the production of the plug part (1) by: (i) injection molding a base housing (2) in a first injection mold tool; and (ii) injection molding the ring seal (9) around the housing sheath (3,4) by means of a second injection mold tool.
