MOUSE PAD TYPE INPUT DEVICE

PURPOSE: A mouse pad type input device is provided to embed one or more buttons in a mouse pad for executing a selected operation at one operation. CONSTITUTION: A mouse pad(1) includes a panel part(2) and an interface part(3). The panel part(2) contains more than one button through the whole area of the mouse pad(1) or at a part of the whole area. The interface part(3) is connected with the panel part(2) electrically. The interface part(3) receives an electrical signal from a button embedded in the panel(2), converts the signal into a corresponding button identification code, and transmits it to a computer. Accordingly, an MCU(Micro Control Unit) is installed in the inside of the interface part(3). Also the interface part(3) should be so sufficiently thick that a cable(4) can be connected.
