Process and device for the packaging of carbon dioxide snow in a plastic film

The process of packing carbon dioxide (CO2) snow into plastic film container comprises: injecting fluid having temperature lower than that of air dew point into contact and into the interior of plastic film container; introducing CO2 snow into plastic container; and closing plastic container. An Independent claim is also included for the device for packing CO2 snow into plastic film container (5), comprising: (a) means for distribution, shaping (4, 7) and displacement (6) of plastic film; (b) source of liquid CO2 (2); (c) means for injection of fluid having temperature lower than that of air dew point (8) into contact and into the interior of shaped plastic film, connected to source of such fluid; (d) generator of CO2 snow (1) linked to source of liquid CO2 (2) and positioned in such way as to fill plastic film container; and (e) means of sealing (13) of plastic film container.
