A connection between an LCD 30 and a printed circuit board 35, for example in a mobile telephone, comprises Indium Tin Oxide (ITO) pads 31 on the LCD, an Anisotropic Conductive Film (ACF) layer 32 on top of the ITO pad, at least one Double Flexible Printed Circuit (DFPC) 33 located on the ACF layer, and a connector 34 with springy metal arms 38 and a holder. Because the connector is not fixed to either the LCD or the PCB, it is easy to dismantle and is resistant to shocks.
