<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a toner with which a re- aggregated body or coarse particles in the toner as a half-finished product can be removed stably over a long time, in a screening process equipped with a mechanical vibrating screen device or vibrating screen device with an ultrasonic oscillator. SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the toner, a toner as a half- finished product is prepared by mixing toner particles having <=8μm weight- average particle size and an external additive, and then the toner as the half- finished product is subjected to the screening process to pass through the screen mesh of the vibrating screen device to manufacture the toner the screen, the wires of which constituting the mesh, are subjected to vacuum nitriding treatment for use in the vibrating screen device.</p> |
