PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner which does not cause deterioration in the image quality by the trace of fixing and peeling claws even if the peeling claws slide on the image surface immediately after being fixed. SOLUTION: The electrostatic charge image developing toner, containing at least binder resin, coloring agent, electrification controlling agent and magnetic fine powder in the toner particles, has the features including: (1) the binder resin consists of a styrene polymer having 145 to 165 deg.C softening point; (2) the loss elastic modulus G" of the binder resin ranges from 1×104 dyne/cm2 to 2×104 dyne/cm2 at 140 deg.C; (3) the weight-average particle size of the toner particles is in the range of 7.5 to 10.5 μm; and (4) the absolute specific gravity of the toner particles ranges from 1.1 to 1.3. In the method for forming images, a two-component developer is prepared by mixing the electrostatic charge image developing toner with a magnetic carrier and then electrified and deposited on the surface of a developer carrying both provided with a magnet, and then the toner is deposited to an electrostatic charge image on an electrostatic charge image holding body to develop the image. |
