<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate trouble that oil can not be sufficiently supplied because pores are clogged when offset toner is stuck to the surface of a porous body for supplying a releasing agent in the case of coating the fixing roll of a fixing device with the releasing agent so that the toner may be hardly offset. SOLUTION: By setting the surface roughness of the porous body for coating a moving body with liquid within a range decided with reference to toner particle size, the sufficient amount of the liquid is obtained and the pores are hardly clogged by the adhesion of toner. By deciding the surface roughness distribution (maximum value and mean value) of the porous body to be within a specified range with reference to toner particle size distribution (minimum value and mean value), the adhesion of the toner to the porous body is reduced and the clogging is hardly caused. Thus, the image recorder has an effect that the adhesion of the toner to the porous body is reduced and the sufficient supply amount of oil is obtained.</p> |
