PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrohotographic photoreceptor, which can be used in a high temperature atmosphere at a high process speed, without causing wear resistance to decrease, and to provide a process cartridge and an electrophotographic device which use the photoreceptor. SOLUTION: At least the surface layer of the photoreceptor contains polyarylate resin expressed by formula, when the ambient temperature around the electrophotographic photoreceptor (temperature in a machine) exceeds the room temperature of40 deg.C. In the formula, each of R1 to R4 is a hydrogen atom, 1-5C alkyl group, aryl group, 1-5C alkoxy group or halogen group, and X is a single bond or -CR5R6-, wherein each of R5 and R6 is a hydrogen atom, halogen atom, alkyl group, or aryl group or R5 and R6 are coupled to form an alkylidene group.
