PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for treating wastewater from radioactive waste using magnetic field and bio-filtration are provided. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus includes a pump which forcibly supplies wastewater from a wastewater storage tank(102) through a pipe(104); a magnetizer(120) which is mounted on the pipe to magnetize wastewater; a prefiltration tank(130) which is communicated with the wastewater storage tank via the pipe, wherein the prefiltration tank has a strainer at bottom thereof and a bio ball is located inside the strainer; a magnetic treatment tank which is communicated with the prefiltration tank via the pipe, wherein the magnetic treatment tank has a magnetizing filter therein; an activated carbon filter tank(150) which adsorbs organic and radioactive waste from wastewater discharged from the prefiltration tank; and an ion exchange resin tank(160) which removes residual organic and radioactive waste from the wastewater.
