PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tripod which can be made very compact when not used, for example, carried and can set a camera fitting body at both a left side tilt attitude and a right side tilt attitude. SOLUTION: The tripod 11 is equipped with a base body 20 which is connected to a leg device 12 and further equipped with a tilt rotary body 21 which can be rotated and adjusted on its right-left horizontal center axis X of rotation and the camera fitting body 41 which can be rotated and adjusted on the front- rear horizontal center axis A of rotation aligned with the axial direction of a side tilt shaft. The center axis A of rotation of the camera fitting body 41 is nearly aligned with the right-left center line B of the base body 20 in plane view. The side tilt shaft is arranged almost below a camera fixing screw 59 of the camera fitting body 41. |
