REMOTE SUPERVISORY AND CONTROL SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently perform processing among plural general mail terminals and plural supervisory and control sites in a remote supervisory and control system for supervising and controlling equipment by transmitting/receiving electronic mail through the Internet and firewalls by converting a command or status for supervisory and control into a format capable of transmitting/ receiving by electronic mail. SOLUTION: A relay mail server 12 inside a relay site 11 receives supervisory and control mail from a general mail terminal 1, stores it in a supervisory and control mail storage device 14 and a supervisory and control mail managing device 13 extracts that mail and sends it through the relay mail server 12 to a mail server 22 on a supervisory and control site 21.
