<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transport means selection support system, capable of presenting a transport means satisfying requirements for the target arrival time of a cargo. SOLUTION: This transport means selection support system first requests a system user to input the delivery time of a product as a cargo (step 201). Next, the means selects a transport means, capable of meeting the requirement for the delivery time based on the operation table for transportation means stored in an external storage 6 (step 202), and finally selects the transport means for which the cost is least in expensive delivery cost from among the selected transport means (step 203). Then the finally selected transport means is presented to the system user (step 204).</p> |
