PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a key operation device whose operability for touch key can be improved even in a dim operation environment. SOLUTION: A handy scanner 1 reads two-dimensional information codes, and transmits the read information to a host computer. Various information and touch keys 19a-19e are displayed at a liquid crystal display 3 having a touch panel arranged in the handy scanner 1 so that the operation of the handy scanner 1 can be set according to a user's operation to the touch keys 19a-19e. This liquid crystal display 3 is provided with a gray shades display function, and the display concentration of the touch key which is highly likely to be operated the next is set so as to be darker. Thus, the visibility of the touch key which is highly likely to be operated the next is set so as to be higher so that the operation of the handy scanner 1 can be easily set according to the user's touch operation to the touch keys. |
