PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a panhead which can secure sufficient photography height when used and can be made sufficiently compact when not used. SOLUTION: This panhead 11 is equipped with a rotary body 21 which can be rotated and adjusted on a horizontal center axis X of rotation and a camera fitting body 41 which is united with the rotary body 21 and revolve around the center axis X of rotation of the rotary body 21. When the camera fitting body 41 is set at a 1st position by rotating and adjusting the rotary body 21 in one direction, at least part of the camera fitting body 41 is positioned above the upper end part of the rotary body 21. When the camera fitting body 41 is set at a 2nd position by rotating and adjusting the rotary body 21 in the other direction, the whole camera fitting body 41 is positioned below the upper end part of the rotary body 21. |
