PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a CPU diagnostic device capable of changing a monitoring mode according to the state of the CPU. SOLUTION: The CPU diagnostic device is capable of taking one calculation processing state selected from a plurality of calculation processing states and perform effective calculation processing in accordance with the selected calculation processing state. The device comprises an exercise preparing division (exercise preparation and judgement division 301) which prepares an exercise and an exercise calculation processing division 211 which is provided to correspond to each of a plurality of calculation processing states and calculates the exercise prepared by the exercise preparing division, and based on the answer of exercise calculation by the exercise calculation processing division 211, diagnoses whether the CPU is in order. |
