PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the effect of noise and, in its turn, to prevent erroneous detection of gas concentration. SOLUTION: This gas concentration sensor 100 detects the concentration of a specific gas content, at least one of NOx concentration, HC concentration, or CO concentration in an exhaust gas. A detection signal of the sensor 100 is inputted into a sensor control circuit M10. The control circuit M10 calculates an oxygen concentration output and a NOx concentration output from the detection signal, and detects element impedance of the sensor 100. A heater control circuit M20 controls power applied to a heater 103. The control circuits M10 and M20 each comprise a microcomputer and they are housed in a connector 300 for connection to an external device. |
