PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To read a Web page that is accordant with the personal preference without inputting a keyword. SOLUTION: The clicking operation time and the reading contents are inputted via an information input means 310 while a user R accesses the Internet 100 by means of an information reading device 200 to read plural Web pages which are linked together by clicking operations. A word/genre selection means 320 selects a word and its genre which represent the contents of each Web page, and a reading time calculation means 330 calculates the reading time of each Web page. A personal preference information recording means 350 records the frequency of selecting every word and genre, the accumulated reading time, etc., as personal preference information. A display controller 410 displays a specific word on a reading screen in a color in accordance with the personal preference information, and a retrieval controller 420 performs the automatic retrieval operations within the Internet 100 by using the personal preference information as a keyword.
