PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parting material coating web which may be housed in an image forming apparatus at a size at which the web may be mounted in actuality thereto, is large in the impregnation amount of a parting material, is free of leakage and coating application unevenness of the parting material, can assure parting performance and parting material holding characteristic and consequently makes it possible to obtain good fixing and threading proper ties without toner offset. SOLUTION: The parting material coating web 44 consists of polyethylene terephthalate as material and a nonwoven fabric of a single layer consisting of fibers of fineness 0.33 dtex (densitex) as a base fabric. The thickness before the impregnation with the parting material of this base fabric ranges from 0.1 to 0.2 mm. The base fabric is impregnated with dimethyl silicone oil at a ratio from 50 to 100 g and further preferably a ratio from 70 to 100 g per square meter, by which the parting material coating web 44 is formed.
