PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a movable magnet meter which can suppress deformation of a shield case. SOLUTION: There are provided a rotor magnet 1 having a rotary shaft 3, a synthetic resin housing 6 which stores the rotor magnet 1 and supports the rotary shaft 3, coils 7 and 8 set to an outer periphery of the housing 6 for applying a rotation force to the rotor magnet 1, and the shield case 9 having a bottom wall 90 and a peripheral wall 91 and comprising a press molding body of a metallic plate material having the opposite side to the bottom wall 91 opened. The shield case is mounted to cover a required part of the housing 6 through the opening side. A projecting piece (positioning means) 68 is set to the housing 6 to position the shield case 9 so that an inner face of the peripheral wall 91 of the shield case 9 dose not contact an outer peripheral face of the housing 6.
