PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass substrate for display which is capable of suppressing the electrification by contact peeling. SOLUTION: This glass substrate 1 for display having a plate thickness of 0.3 to 6 mm is 0.03 to 0.5μm in the average value of WCA (filtered center line waviness) measured by a contact type surface roughness measuring instrument using a phase compensation 2RC band-pass filter having a measuring length of 200 mm and a cut-off value of 0.8 to 25 mm.
