PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate no weary for a user by providing variation in display contents and to make the best use of the features of an organic EL display panel. SOLUTION: In the display device in which equipment is equipped with a display panel 14 for displaying a prescribed image and the panel 14 is allowed to display the described image, a storage means 13 which is incorporated in the equipment and stores display data relative to a display image to be displayed on the panel 14 and a writing means 2 through which the display data are written into the means 13 from the external are provided. To be specific, a reloadable memory such as a flash memory is mounted on the equipment main body so that an environment is provided in which ready made image data are taken in from a network or an image produced by the user is individually taken in.
