摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To embody estimation of an underground structure by tremor observation even in a sea floor. SOLUTION: An analyzing device 5 synchronizes clocks built in a plurality of underwater sensor units 1 arranged in the sea floor by using time data of the GPS. In this state, each underwater sensor unit is respectively positioned in a predetermined position of the sea floor, observes tremors of the sea floor a certain time, and stores tremor observation data along with the time data. The tremor observation data and the time data of each underwater sensor unit 1 recovered after finishing observation are outputted to the analyzing device 5. The analyzing device analyzes the tremor observation data stored by each underwater sensor unit by unifying the time base using the time data of each underwater sensor unit 1, and estimates the underground structure directly under the sea floor where the underwater sensor units were positioned.
