PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a focusing information display device and a method thereof for a camera by which an image forming position by manual focusing is easily confirmed and adjusted. SOLUTION: This camera is equipped with an image pickup means 30 forming a subject image and outputting an image pickup signal, an AF detection means 42 detecting focusing information based on the image pickup signal, a display means 18 displaying the detected focusing information, and a control means 46 changing the display of the focusing information when detection output from the detection means 42 is changed in the case the focusing information is displayed in a state where a focusing operation member is not operated. Therefore, the image forming position by manual operation is easily confirmed and adjusted. |
