<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method which can flexibly cope with and control external signals in a built-in type processor. SOLUTION: In a system LSI1 with a built-in processor PU2, an outside flag register 12 is provided which can directly set an outside flag dataϕ2 of VU3, which is another processing unit of the system LSI1, in addition to an inside flag register 13 which stores inside flag dataϕ1 reflecting the result of processing. And commands are also prepared which refer contents of the outside flag register 12 in the same level as the inside flag register 13 and can decide its destination. Thus, in this PU2 built-in LSI1, it becomes possible to transit by the flag data of outside processing unit in the same number of clocks as the transition from the results of outside condition, and possible to realize the control which flexibly copes with the outside signals.</p> |
