PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas sensor with an excellent ventilating property in the case of a gas sensor functioning by introducing the air from the exterior as a reference gas. SOLUTION: In an oxygen sensor, a hydrophilic coat 30 is applied to the surfaces of a presser member 16 with a vent hole 16a and insertion holes 16b formed therein. Therefore, even if waterdrops attach to the proximity of the insertion holes 16b, they flow out by being guided by the hydrophilic coat 30 and become less liable to remain in the proximity of the vent hole 16a. In other words, the vent hole 16a is no longer choked by the waterdrops and a ventilating property can be secured. |
