PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely measure a component to be detected even if a vibration is exerted from the exterior in the case of a gas sensor used to detect the component to be detected in an exhaust gas. SOLUTION: In an oxygen sensor 2, a detection element 4 is disposed through an insertion hole 54 in a ceramic sleeve 6 in such a manner that a lead frame 10 is sandwiched between the detection element 4 and an inner wall of the insertion hole in the ceramic sleeve 6. A ceramic holder 106 and a talc powder 108 are disposed in a lower part of a cylindrical hole in a principal metal part 102 and the ceramic sleeve 6 with the detection element 4 disposed therethrough is disposed thereon. Meanwhile, a wavelike portion 16 is formed on the lead frame 10 and, with this portion abutting on an electrode terminal of the detection element 4, the detection element 4 is put to fixation. The oxygen sensor 2 thus constructed makes it possible to take out oxygen concentration-cell electromotive force generated in the detection element 4 to the exterior via the lead frame 10. |
