<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color electrostatic charge image developing toner of superior resistance to thermal aggregation, showing good fixing and offset characteristics over a wide temperature range, superior color reproducibility and transparency and stable chargeable behavior, even when the toner is used for continuous printing. SOLUTION: The toner contains binder resin and coloring agent, and the binder resin consists of polyester resin obtained by the reaction of (1) naphthalene dicarboxylic acid and/or its lower alkyl ester, (2) dicarboxylic acid expressed by general formula (I) and/or its lower alkyl ester and/or its acid anhydride by >=1 mol% with respect to the whole acid component, and (3) polyhydric alcohol with two or more valences. In the general formula (I), X is a 0-20C saturated or unsaturated hydrocarbon group, R1 is hydrogen or a 1-4C saturated or unsaturated hydrocarbon group, and each of R2 and R3 is hydrogen or a 4-20C saturated or unsaturated hydrocarbon group, and where the sum of carbon atoms in X, R2 and R3 is in the range of 3 to 20.</p> |
