PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber coating device capable of confirming the pouring state of a photosetting resin into a mold and the photosetting state of the same even if a shielding lid is not opened. SOLUTION: An observing window capable of observing the inside of the mold in the state that the window is closed is provided in the shielding lid 6 of the optical fiber coating device, and a uitraviolet ray cutting filter 9 is provided in the observing window 8. A TV camera which photographs the inside of the mold and a TV monitor which outputs the photographed picture in the state that the shielding lid is closed are provided. A lens which enlarges the inside of the mold is provided in the observing window. A mirror which reflects parts incapable of being directly observed or being directly photographed of the inside of the mold is provided, and the parts incapable of being directly observed or being directly photographed are allowed to observe via the mirror.
