PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substitute evaluation method and device for functional evaluation of cosmetics or cosmetic raw material, and an analysis method and system actually usable as a substitute means for functional evaluation by obtaining a correlative result to the evaluation result of a special panelist with high accuracy and high repeatability in the quality evaluation of functionality, usability, a finish feeling, and the like of the cosmetics or cosmetic raw material performed by the functional evaluation of the special panelist. SOLUTION: The substitute evaluation device for functional evaluation comprises an AE sensor for detecting AE generated to the cosmetics or cosmetic raw material and converting it into an electric signal; an amplifying means for amplifying the electric signal detected by the AE sensor; a filter means for extracting a specific frequency band out of the electric signal amplified by the amplifying means; an analog-to-digital conversion means for converting the electric signal extracted by the filter means, into a digital signal; and an analytic means for analyzing the digital signal converted by the analog-to-digital conversion me ans.
