SHADOW MASK OF CRT

PURPOSE: A shadow mask of a CRT is provided to prevent an excessive deformation on impacting by forming a bead on the shadow mask. CONSTITUTION: A shadow mask of a CRT has a rectangular plane and rises forwardly with a predetermined curvature. A hole part(21) includes dot-type mask holes which is formed at the center of the shadow mask(20). Electron beams emitted from an electron gun pass through selectively the mask holes. A holeless part(22) is formed around edge of the hole part(21). A portion of the holeless part(22) is bent so as to form a skirt(23) at the end of the holeless part(22). The skirt(23) is welded to be attached to the inside of a mask frame. A bead(24) is formed in parallel with long side in a straight line on the surface of the shadow mask(20). The bead(24) is formed on the screen, that is a face panel, of the shadow mask(20).
