PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic image forming apparatus which counts the accurate number of sheets corresponding to the amount of actually used toner and prevents an image from having a white void in the ending of the remaining number of sheets. SOLUTION: Once receiving a no-remaining-toner signal output from a toner detection sensor 91 of a recording part 9, a CPU l counts the number of remaining sheets of recording paper where images can be formed with the amount of remaining toner according to the black rate of an image formed after the amount of remaining toner reaches its limit and stops the image formation when the count result becomes 0. |
