PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for managing the training of a fundamental ability, capable of performing management for making the fundamental ability of a human being progress objectively and effectively toward a certain object by training. SOLUTION: In a fundamental ability training management system 1, terminals for training 3-1,..., 3-n capable of training and measuring the ability for reading printing with respect to employees getting training are connected to an information communication network 2 and a management device 4 is connected to the network too and the management device 4 is provided with a data management server 5 which stores measured data in time sequence and extracts management data by performing a prescribed arithmetic processing and a terminal for management 7 for presenting the management data to corporate managers of a manager side.
