PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information distribution system, by which information can be distributed to a specified receiver at a low cost and on the side of the receiver, on the other hand, the distributed information can be recognized with a feeling of watching television without performing complicated operation. SOLUTION: In the information distribution system composed of a server for distributing a message via a communication network, plural receiving means for receiving information from this server and an information transmitting means for displaying the information received by these receivers, the server is provided with a means for containing a specified address in a message and each of receivers is provided with a means for storing an individual address assigned to the receiver itself at least, a receiving means for receiving the information distributed from the server and an analyzing means for judging whether the received message is valid or invalid by analyzing the specified address contained in the message.
