PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation sensitive composition for a color filter capable of attaining an increased concentration of a pigment, having high luminance and high color purity, excellent in developability and capable of forming red pixels excellent in adhesion to a substrate and a light shielding layer, heat resistance, etc. SOLUTION: The radiation sensitive composition contains (A) a colorant, (B) an alkali-soluble resin, (C) a polyfunctional monomer, (D) a photopolymerization initiator and (E) a solvent. The colorant (A) contains a latent organic pigment of formula (1) (where each R1 is lower alkyl or aralkyl) and another organic pigment. The alkali-soluble resin (B) contains a copolymer comprising (a) a carboxyl-containing unsaturated monomer, (b) an N-substituted maleimide and (c) another copolymerizable unsaturated monomer. |
