<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch panel which is not affected by contact resistance. SOLUTION: A state setting part 22 of this touch panel device that detects the depressed position coordinates of a resistance film type touch panel opens the electrode terminals of one of both resistance films while applying the fixed voltage between electrodes of the other resistance film, uses one of electrode terminals of the former resistance film as a coordinate detection terminal and pulls up and down the coordinate detection terminal via resistance when each of axial coordinates of depressed positions is detected. A coordinate detection part 23 of the touch panel device reads the output voltage of the coordinate detection terminal in both pull-up and pull-down modes, can detect the coordinate on the basis of the output voltage when the difference between output voltage read in both pull-up and pull-down modes is smaller than the set value and cannot detect the coordinate when the difference is larger than the set value.</p> |
